Business Start Up Basics

Presented by The High Desert African American Chamber Foundation

Description:   The HDAACC Entrepreneurship Training Program promotes business growth, expansion, innovation, increased productivity and improved business management. The HDAACC Start Up business program is a gateway that also provides one-on-one consulting and access to business support services.

This 6-8 week program is a series of workshops designed to teach principles of entrepreneurship and small business start up basics.  The introductory program will help you plan, start and grow your business. Experienced business owners / presenters guide you through the series and step-by-step topics including:

  • Operating Success:  Navigating Compliance, Licensing and Regulations
  • Building Your Team:  Consultants and Technical Assistance
  • Designing Your Marketing Plan and Public Relations

  • Business Sustainability:  How Much Cash Will I Need?
  • Veteran-Owned, Women Owned:  Certification​s. How and Where To Begin​​
